About Mr Wash Car Wash

Located at 3407 Mt Vernon Ave, Alexandria, VA 22305, Mr Wash Car Wash operates as a car wash serving Alexandria in Virginia. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Alexandria, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Virginia, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 8 am–8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file. More information is available on its website, mrwash.com.

Its Google rating stands at 3.2 out of 5 from 860 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.

Had a ton of bird poop on the car, $30 later most of it was still on there when we left. Not a good wash

The autopayment and unlimited washes during the monthly membership are very convenient and a good deal. However, they provide an ok wash to get rid of the pollen and the winter snow and salt. I will be canceling my membership since spring is here and is warmer to wash the car myself. If you want to wash your car yourself and want to clear the undercarriage you can get a small pressure washer and a water broom attachment from Home Depot. I took pictures not even 2 minutes after I left Mr. Wash. Here there are...

Like many other reviews have said, it was $30 for the car wash and it didn't even get my car clean. It took some of the bird poop off, but still left a lot on. I will never return. Waste of money.

The wash itself was okay—didn’t clean my car all the way and several large bird poop stains were still visible after. They are pushy about trying to get you to sign up for their monthly plan, even when you tell them no. Probably better car washes in the area.

Even with a membership, this would NOT be worth it. $30 for a single wash that left streaks everywhere. I’m going to have to stop at a gas station to get rid of the white marks it left on my windows. I don’t quite understand how this happened, but there is still a crazy amount of dust on the roof of my car with little marks indicating what turned out to be a failed attempt at cleaning. It didn’t even get bird poop off the side of the car. The dryer is subpar. Any car wash worth anything will have someone at the end to give a quick wipe down of the car, so now I have dried water marks. It’s almost like they were using dirty water or the equipment was dirty enough to leave the marks. A membership isn’t going to fix that. This is the type of place that will try to sell you HARD on a membership, so if that’s something that makes you uncomfortable, I’d recommend going elsewhere. The second guy who tried to sell me a membership called me “sweetie” which is just such a condescending ick. You’re better off going to a different place with better service and a better product for the price. Pictures attached.
